The Bill (Reg. No.2211), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, postpones the following: realization of the Government´s commission concerning elaboration and parliamentary consideration of the national programme of social housing development for one year; realization of the commission for the local self-government bodies concerning inventory and registration of housing that can be regarded as social - for half a year.
The Committee members deem necessary to introduce amendments, since there are no normative and legal acts to differentiate the waiting list for social housing and regulate the procedure for allotment of housing out of the housing stock of social allotment.
The Committee upheld the Bill, since its adoption will create necessary legal grounds, and will reflect urgent needs and actual possibilities of regions regarding provision of social housing to the citizens.
